Author David Sedaris coming to Meyer Theatre

GREEN BAY (WLUK) — A best-selling author and humorist will appear on a Green Bay stage.

David Sedaris, will be at the Meyer Theatre on Friday, Oct. 17 at 8 p.m., following the release of his newest books Happy Go Lucky and Pretty Ugly.

Sedaris is also the author of previous bestsellers Calypso, Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, and a regular National Public Radio contributor.

Sedaris will offer a selection of all-new readings and recollections, as well as a Q&A session and book signing. Books will be available for sale at the event, courtesy of Lion’s Mouth Bookstore.

With sardonic wit and incisive social critiques, Mr. Sedaris has become one of America’s pre-eminent humor writers. The great skill with which he slices through cultural euphemisms and political correctness proves that Sedaris is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 2 at 10 a.m. at MeyerTheatre.org, by phone at 800.895.0071 or at the TicketStar box office.
