Award-winning author Allen Wolf to launch The Sound of Violet 10th Anniversary Edition at Landmark Booksellers | Entertainment

Award-winning author and filmmaker Allen Wolf will host an intimate book launch event at Landmark Booksellers on Friday, Nov. 14, at 6 p.m. to celebrate the 10th Anniversary Edition of his critically acclaimed novel The Sound of Violet. The event will feature a discussion about the book’s journey from page to screen, a Q&A session, a book signing, and refreshments. 

To be released on Nov. 11, The Sound of Violet: 10th Anniversary Edition marks a decade since the original publication of this critically acclaimed inspirational romance that was adapted into a motion picture. The anniversary edition features completely revised text with expanded storytelling and greater emotional depth. 

In this inspirational story, love feels impossible to Shawn until he meets Violet, who sees past his autism but is trapped in exploitation. Together, they fight to break free.

Allen Wolf is an award-winning storyteller now based in Los Angeles who creates novels, films, and games. His debut novel, The Sound of Violet, inspired him to write, direct, and produce its movie adaptation, continuing a filmmaking career that began with the worldwide release of his thriller, In My Sleep, which garnered multiple film festival awards. A graduate of NYU’s film school, he hosts the popular Navigating Hollywood podcast. The award-winning games he created, including You’re Pulling My Leg!, have been enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of players worldwide. Allen lives in Santa Clarita with his wife and two children, who inspire his creativity.
