The Society of the Four Arts announces the upcoming season of its popular book discussion series, the Florida Voices Series.

Each program in the series features a presentation by a celebrated Florida author, Q&A, and a book signing.

KELLY

The Martha’s Vineyard Beach and Book Club with Martha Hall Kelly January 21, 2026, at 1: 30 p. m.

New York Times best-selling author Martha Hall Kelly discusses her newest novel. Inspired by actual events, this captivating story follows two sisters on Martha’s Vineyard during World War II as they navigate family struggles, wartime tensions, and the transformative power of books.

GILBERT

Giant Love: Edna Ferber, Her Best-Selling Novel of Texas, and the Making of a Classic American Film with Julie Gilbert March 4, 2026, at 1: 30 p. m.

Author Julie Gilbert explores the life and legacy of Edna Ferber, Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist, acclaimed playwright, and one of the most widely read authors of the early 20th century. In Giant Love, Gilbert delves into the controversy surrounding Ferber’s groundbreaking novel Giant (1952).

MONAGHAN

It’s A Love Story with Annabel Monaghan April 1, 2026, at 1: 30 p. m.

USA Today best-selling author Annabel Monaghan shares the story behind her latest novel— a witty and heartfelt tale of second chances, Hollywood mishaps, and unexpected romance. Monaghan delves into the inspiration behind the book and the joy of writing about love in all its messy, magical forms.

Since its founding in 1936, the nonprofit Society of the Four Arts has offered a dynamic lineup of cultural programming, notable speakers, concerts, films, educational programs, and art exhibitions. All programs are open to the public.
