The project revisits the legendary Anthology series from the mid-’90s, the deep-dive that first gave fans a peek behind the curtain of the Beatles’ creative world. Now, nearly 30 years later, the band’s legacy is being remastered, expanded, and reimagined for a new generation — and for diehards who still can’t resist one more trip through Abbey Road.

The release includes newly remixed versions of the original Anthology 1–3 albums, remastered by Giles Martin (yep, George Martin’s son — the family business lives on). But the real excitement is the arrival of Anthology 4, dropping November 21, 2025 — a treasure chest of unreleased session recordings, alternate takes, and fresh mixes of rare tracks. Even ‘Free As A Bird’ and ‘Real Love’ are getting a 2025 glow-up, with Jeff Lynne returning to remix Lennon’s demixed vocals.

And because it wouldn’t be a Beatles release without a visual feast, the original Anthology documentary has been fully restored and expanded with an all-new ninth episode, hitting Disney+ on November 26. There’s also a 25th-anniversary reissue of The Beatles Anthology book arriving October 14, for those who prefer their Beatles magic on the page.

For fans who’ve grown up, grown old, or grown with the Beatles, this release is more than nostalgia — it’s like finding a new door in a house you thought you knew by heart. It’s the sound of history evolving, all over again.

So yes, the Beatles are back (again). And honestly? The world could use a bit more of that magic right now.
