The countdown is on for the One Book, One Community book club event..
With less than a month remaining, hurry to grab your copy of “One Summer in Savannah” from a library or local bookstore and join in a community reading event that will culminate in a chance to meet the author, Terah Shelton Harris, at the Carrollton Bookfest on April 5.
Free copies of “One Summer in Savannah” are available at the Neva Lomason Library in Carrollton while supplies last.
Carroll Allied Libraries and the Carrollton Bookfest have joined together in sponsoring the One Book One, Community program, which invites everyone to read and discuss powerful themes of forgiveness, family, and personal growth Harris explores in “One Summer in Savannah.” The novel weaves together deep emotional storytelling, making it a perfect pick for the community-wide book club.
The highly anticipated author event, featuring a special presentation and Q&A with Harris, will take place at the Carrollton Bookfest on April 5 at 10 a.m. It will be a unique chance to meet the author, connect with fellow readers, and engage in a meaningful conversation about the transformative power of stories.
