It’s the debut novel by Emily Elizabeth Baker, a Sturgeon Bay author who works at Novel Bay Booksellers. A party at Novel Bay celebrated the book launch in December.
A lifelong writer and the daughter of a librarian, Emily Elizabeth Baker taught middle schoolers to find their own love of books before leaving to pursue a career in writing. She also writes on the literary platform Substack under The Writer on the Water and hosts the podcast The Odyssey of a Novel.
