‘Homestand’ author returning to area for book Q&A | Lifestyles
PERRY — Will Bardenwerper, author of “Homestand: Small Town Baseball and the Fight for the Soul of America,” will return to the area Wednesday for a special event at Act 4 Books, 4 South Main St.
Bardenwerper’s book chronicles the summer of 2022 when he embedded himself with the Batavia Muckdogs of the New York Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League. The book uses small town baseball as a lens to explore what’s right and wrong with modern America.
