Riverow Bookshop hosting book signing with local author

The Riverow Bookshop in Owego will be hosting a book signing, conversation, and Q&A with local author and Owego Free Academy Band Director Lindsey Williams on Friday.

Williams will be signing copies of her memoir “Where the Valley Widens: A Teacher’s Journey Through the Ages.”

The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Riverow Bookshop, which is located at 187 Front Street in Owego.

The book is being called an “inspirational testament to the power of teaching.” Inspired by hardship, Williams wrote the book hoping to help people struggling through things to “find a way to keep going and discover the things they are looking for in life.”
